What: National Eye Health Week aims to inspire and educate people on the importance of eye health. At NERC, we also see it as the perfect opportunity to raise awareness around the vital need for more investment in eye research.

When: 21st – 27th September 2020

Where: This awareness week is mostly celebrated in the UK but we welcome anyone who wants to take part.

How: Get involved in National Eye Health Week by reading, learning, educating or hosting a fundraiser.

Why: 2 million people in the UK currently live with sight loss, by 2050 this number is set to double. By getting the facts and understanding importance of eye research, you’re taking vital steps towards ensuring we can prevent more people from losing their sight.
